Ingeniously designed, the suction and discharge ports of the split casing pump are strategically positioned below the pump's axis, aligned horizontally to ensure perpendicular orientation. The casing splits centrally, simplifying maintenance by eliminating the need to disassemble inlet and outlet pipes or the motor.
The split casing pump is a masterpiece of engineering, comprising key components such as the pump body, pump cover, impeller, shaft, double suction seal ring, shaft sleeve, and high-performance bearings.
Within the pump body and cover lies the impeller's operational chamber. The water inlet and outlet flanges are meticulously designed with pipe screw holes for precision installation of vacuum and pressure gauges. Additionally, the lower sections feature pipe screw holes for efficient water discharge.
The impeller undergoes rigorous static balance verification, securely fixed with a sleeve and sleeve nuts on either side. Its axial positioning is finely adjustable using the sleeve nut. The impeller's axial force is adeptly balanced by its symmetrical vane arrangement, with any residual axial force borne by the coaxial end bearing.
Precision-engineered, the pump shaft is supported by two durable single-row radial ball bearings, housed within the bearing bodies at each end of the pump. These bearings are efficiently lubricated with premium butter for optimal performance.
